The Los Angeles Lakers will for the first time in a long time see some extended home action as they open a six game set at the STAPLES Center tomorrow afternoon against the Chicago Bulls. Sunday's meeting between these two storied but struggling franchises is scheduled to get underway at 3:30pm ET on ABC. NBA Betting Odds have not yet been released for Sunday's NBA action.

The Lakers are nothing short of M.A.S.H. unit right now with Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Jordan Farmer, Nick Young, and Xavier Henry all sidelined with various ailments. However, despite its injury woes, Los Angeles has managed to win its last two games.

The Lakers defeated the Cavaliers 119-108 on Wednesday night, in spite of playing the game's final minutes with just four players, and they knocked off the equally woeful Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.

Those two games concluded a brutal stretch for L.A., one which saw the team play 10 of 12 games on the road. And, unfortunately for the Lakers, they dropped eight of those 12 contests.

The Bulls are wrapping up a difficult run of their own as they conclude a six game Western Conference road swing tomorrow at the STAPLES Center.

Chicago has notched two surprising and impressive wins on their current road trip, knocking off the Spurs 96-86 and the Suns 101-92; however, it dropped games to the Pelicans, Kings, and Warriors and did so by an average of 14.3 points per game.

Still, the Bulls should have the fresher legs tomorrow, having last played on Thursday night and their defense should give the shorthanded Lakers fits. L.A. did play the Bulls tough in Chicago a couple of weeks ago, losing 100-102 in overtime, but Pau Gasol, Jodie Meeks, and Nick Young all played in that game. Meeks will be the only player from that trio to suit up tomorrow.

Notable Trends: The Lakers are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games playing at home off of back to back road wins (Under was 6-1 in those same seven games).
