Navy vs Indiana College Football Free Picks

Navy
opens its 2013 season today as it faces an improved Indiana Hooisers squad at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. Tonight's meeting between the Midshipmen and Hoosiers is scheduled to kickoff at 6:00pm ET on the Big Ten Network. According to the latest College Football Free Picks and Lines from offshore bookmaker 5Dimes, Indiana should have a relatively easy time of it this evening. The Hoosiers are a -13 against the spread favorite and a -550 money line selection ($550 wins $100). The Over/Under in tonight's showdown between the Middies and Hoosiers is set at 69.5 points.

With 19 returning starters back from last year's 30.8 point per game squad, it was no secret the Hoosiers were a threat to finish with their first winning record since 2007. Last week did nothing to dampen those expectations.

Indiana routed in-state FCS rival Indiana State 73-35 after racking up 29 first downs and 632 total yards. Nate Sudfeld had a banner day in the win, completing 12-of-17 passes for 219 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception, but a strong ground game helped take some pressure off the sophomore signal caller.

The Hoosiers rushed for 313 yards on 58 carries as sophomore Tevin Coleman racked up 169 yards and two scores on 14 touches.

The Midshipmen and their coach, Ken Niumatalolo, no doubt, took notice of the offensive onslaught as they sat at home in Annapolis. Navy featured a decent defense a season ago, allowing 25.7 points per games, but it did not perform well against some of the better teams it faced.

The Middies yielded 50 points to Notre Dame, 34 points to Penn State, and 30 points to Indiana. It will have difficulty limiting the Hoosiers, who are seeking revenge from last year's one point loss, to that number tonight.

Indiana, which is 7-1 straight up and 5-3 against the spread in its last eight games as a home favorite, out-gained Navy 417 yards to 353 in last season's game in Annapolis; however, it finished -2 in the turnover department, allowing the Midshipmen to score a late, come from behind win.

Navy vs Indiana College Football Point Spreads Week 2:

Navy Midshipmen +12.5 (-110), Over 69.5 (-110), +425 (Moneyline)

Indiana Hoosiers -12.5 (-110), Under 69.5 (-110), -550 (Moneyline)
