The St. Louis Cardinals welcome in the Chicago Cubs again this evening in Major League Baseball action. The game is scheduled for a 7:15 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the odds for the game have the Cardinals favored to pick up the win in this one at home.

St. Louis earned a 3-2 victory over the Cubs last night, another chapter in this historic rivalry. The game went 10 innings and Peter Bourjas was able to score on a throwing error, just one of those games where something crazy ends up happening. 

The Cardinals have now picked up four straight victories and they still own the best record in baseball. The Redbirds are now 20 games above the .500 mark at home, one of the most impressive things to happen so far this year in baseball.

Tonight St. Louis sends Michael Wacha to the mound. He's 9-3 with a 2.85 ERA on the season and has been dynamite at home with a 3-1 record in his five starts. Current Cubs have an average of .360 against him in 50 at bats. Junior Lake, Starlin Castro and Anthony Rizzo all have homered off of him and are a combined 15-for-33 (.454) in their at bats.

Chicago will send youngster Ronn Roach to the mound. The 25-year-old from Las Vegas has a 1-0 record with a 4.75 ERA, mostly in relief. He's started just one game and will be making his second tonight against a gritty Cardinal team. Only Mark Reynolds has faced Roach and struck out in that at bat.

Tonight St. Louis will be able to beat up on the youngster.
