The Boston Red Sox are in the Windy City tonight to open a three game set with the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field. This evening’s game is scheduled to get underway at 8:10pm ET. Chicago’s Dylan Axelrod will attempt to get the White Sox back on track as he takes the ball tonight. Axelrod garnered his first win of the season his last time out, but credit for the victory belonged mostly to Chicago’s offense, which cranked out nine runs in defeating the Twins. Axelrod, who is 1-3 with a 4.27 ERA and 1.32 WHIP, allowed nine hits and three earned runs over 5.1 innings.

The White Sox, who are 1-4 in Axelrod’s last five starts, are 2-6 in their last eight meetings with the Red Sox.
