The Miami Heat are six games away from tying the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers NBA record 33 game winning streak. With LeBron James and company so close to history, Sportsbook.ag has released Miami Heat winning streak prop bet on when the team’s next loss will occur. Right now the favorite, at +140 odds ($100 wins $140), is Miami’s March 31st showdown with the Spurs in San Antonio. Should the Heat, indeed, lose that contest, they would end up four games shy of breaking the Lakers record.
Next up on the Heat’s potential streak breakers list is tomorrow’s meeting with the Bulls in Chicago (+240 odds). The Bulls lost 67-86 to Miami at the United Center on February 21st, but they had won four straight at home against the Heat prior to that embarrassing setback.
Rounding out the list is Any Game in April at +300 odds, Miami’s March 29th battle with the Hornets in New Orleans at +650 odds, and, of course, No Losses the Rest of the Regular Season at +800 odds. If the latter comes to fruition, the Heat would end their regular season slate on a 39 game run.
Miami can tie Los Angeles’ mark when it hosts the Philadelphia 76ers on April 6th and it could, potentially, break it on April 9th at home against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Miami Heat – Next Loss Will Be:
March 31st at San Antonio +140
March 27th at Chicago +240
Any Game in April +300
March 29th at New Orleans +650
No Losses the Rest of the Regular Season +800
