Miami Dolphins 2012 NFL Predictions and Super Bowl Odds

Miami suffered through its third consecutive losing season in 2011 and, according to the latest Miami Dolphins 2012 NFL Predictions, it should prepare for a fourth this year. Sportsbook.ag has the Fins favored, at -170 odds, to win fewer than 7.5 games, and it also sees the club finishing dead last in the AFC East. Miami is drawing +1200 odds to win the division and +2000 odds to win the AFC Championship. Super Bowl Odds at the offshore odds maker do not anticipate the Dolphins making a run at the Lombardi either. Miami is a +5000 moneyline play to win the championship game, which is better odds than, say, teams like the Vikings and Rams are getting, but nowhere near the +450 line the Patriots are presently attached to.

Miami started the 2011 season in horrific fashion, losing its first seven games; however, it did regroup down the stretch. The Dolphins won six of their last nine games to finish at 6-10. The late push was not enough to save the job of Head Coach Tony Sparano, though, as he got the ax with three games remaining on the schedule.

With a new coach in Joe Philbin and new offensive and defensive coordinators in Mike Sherman and Kevin Coyle, many believe the Dolphins have the leadership and talent in place to experience a quick turnaround. Cantor Gaming, which released point spreads for every 2012 NFL regular season game through week 16, is among those predicting a Miami resurgence. The Vegas based odds maker has the Dolphins, who face one of the softer lineups in the league, favored in 10 games.
