New York +100
LA Dodgers -110
Over/ Under: 8.5 U -120
The Mets shocked the Dodgers last night by winning 2-1 in a pitcher's duel. The Dodgers had Kershaw on the mound and where huge dogs in the game, but Noah Syndergaard pitched very well, while the pen did the rest. The Mets got a run in the top of the 9th to win the game. Their offenses is still poor, but a win is a win for them and they are nback over .500 with a 41-40 record. Still they are 3.5 games behind the Nationals in their division. The Dodgers are now 9 games over .500 and have a 3 game lead over the Ginats in the NL West. The Dodgers are 2714 at home, while the Mets are just 12-26 on the road.
The Mets rank 29th in scoring (3.44 rpg), 29th in hitting (.231) and 23rd in homers (65), while on the mound they are 4th in ERA (3.37) and 4th in WHIP (1.19). Los Angeles ranks 13th in scoring (4.21 rpg), 16th in hitting (.253) and 4th in homers (103), while on the mound they are 3rd in ERA (3.25) and 3rd in WHIP (1.19).
Getting the ball for the Mets tonight will be Matt Harvey, who is 7-5 with a 2.99 ERA in 15 starts this year, while on the road he has gone 3-3 with a 2.98 ERA. Harvey is 0-1 with a 5.25 ERA in 2 carer starts vs the Dodgers.
Taking the hill for the Dodgers today will be Zack Greinke who is having a solid year as he is 6-2 with a 1.58 ERA overall, while at home he has gone 2-1 with a 1.83 ERA. Zack is 2-1 with a 3.14 ERA in 4 career starts vs the Mets.
Pick: I went under in this game last night and will come right back with it here. The Mets are truly a pathetic offensive team right now as they have averaged just 1.7 rpg in their last 15 games, while scoring a total of 3 runs in their last 4 games. Those numbers are not likely to get any better vs Zack Greinke who is just pitching out of his mind right now. Zack hasn't allowed a run of any kind in his last 3 starts and he has a 1.58 ERA overall and a 1.83 ERA at home. He has an 0.68 WHIP in his last 3 starts and an 0.90 WHIP at home. He just doesn't put many men on base and the Met's haven't gotten on base much of late as they have a .250 OPB in their last 10 games to go along with a .179 BA over that same span. The Mets may get no-hit in this game. LOL. The Mets haven't been scoring much of late, but they also haven't allowed much of late either as they have a 1.82 ERA in their last 10 games. Matt Harvey has been on fire of late as well as he has an 0.46 ERA in his last 3 starts, allowing just 1 ER in the 3 games. He will be taking on an LA offense that has struggled of late, scoring just 3.8 rpg in their last 5 games and just 1 rpg in Zack's last 3 starts. Zack's last 3 starts have seen a total of 4 runs scored, while Matt's last 2 starts have seen a total of 4 runs scored. Don't be surprised if this game goes extras tied at 1 or even 0-0. These offense will not get much off of these white hot pitchers.

Will Money Laundering Dirty Phil Mickelson's Name & Game?
After ESPN's Outside the Lines broke news that Phil Mickelson is connected to a multi-million dollar money laundering and sports betting case involving former sports tout Greg Silveira, the media started having a field day. Mickelson, who has been connected to sports betting before as well as insider trading allegations, runs the risk of getting his clean cut reputation tarnished with the news, plus it could result in more golf struggle after a lackluster US Open performance in 2015. Is it time to fade Lefty?
