Old rivals meet up on the diamond tonight when the San Francisco Giants take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. Greinke at time has looked like the best guy in the league this year. He's won 11 games so far this season and has a 2.90 ERA despite losing his last two starts. San Francisco had won six of their last seven games before dropping an afternoon decision in Philadelphia yesterday.
The Dodgers are talking about potentially moving Matt Kemp as their outfield is jam-packed with too many guys. He wants to play in center field but the Dodgers are continually placing him in left. It would be odd to see him play in another uniform after signing that huge deal.
Tonight Lincecum will look to continue his solid efforts. He's gone 4-1 with an ERA of 0.96 during his last five starts. His resurgence will help the Giants moving forward the rest of the season. He has posted great numbers recently and we like him to throw a solid game here tonight.
With the Giants playing at home, we like them with Lincecum on the hill. This should be a great contest between solid pitchers and we're going to take San Francisco here tonight.
