The Major League Baseball season continues this evening with a game between the New York Yankees and the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers. The game is scheduled for an 7:05 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on Apple TV plus. Currently the Major League Baseball Odds for the game have the Dodgers favored to pick up the victory on the road.

The Yankees have looked like the best team in the league this season. They're red hot as well, winners of eight straight games though last night they were dealt a blow with Juan Soto being injured. He's out of the lineup tonight, but the Yankees should still be ready to go.
LA is throwing Yoshinobu Yamamoto (6-2, 3.32) in what will be his most important start of his Major League career. He's been solid for the Dodgers all year but will have to face a pretty strong lineup in this one tonight. The Yanks counter with Cody Poteet (2-0, 2.45).
With both pitchers coming in with solid seasons to date, this could have the makings of a lower-scoring affair. I'm taking the Dodgers on the road in this one as I think Yamamoto comes out with a solid outing, keeping the Yankees off balanced just enough to get the job done.
