Toronto -135
Total: O 8 runs (-123), U 8 runs (-108)
I'm going to be taking the Tigers today at plus-money against the Blue Jays on the road. Detroit picked up a nice win away from home last night, getting a decent start from Jack Flaherty on the bump. Today, the Tigers give the ball to another strong young starter with Reese Olson.
His record isn't the best at 4-8, but he has been much better than that, spinning an ERA of 3.30 for the season. Detroit has been dreadful at the plate in his starts this season with just over an average of three runs of support in Olson's 18 starts. But he has been good enough, especially recently.
In Olson's last five starts he's surrendered zero, two, two, one and three earned runs and pitched into the sixth inning in each of those starts. I'm expecting another strong outing from him today on the mound, he held Toronto to just one run in 6 1/3 innings earlier this season, striking out four while scattering just three hits.
