The Major League Baseball season continues this evening with a game between the Cleveland Guardians and the Texas Rangers. The game is scheduled for a 7:40 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on MLB.tv. Currently the MLB odds for the game have the Rangers listed as the favorite to pick up the victory.

I'm making a play on the Texas Rangers here tonight at home against Cleveland. It's a really solid price for a team which needs a jump-start at home. Texas has been so-so in their own building this year and they just were swept by the Rockies this past weekend, so I'm expecting a solid effort as they look to get back on track.

Michael Lorenzen (2-2, 4.66 ERA) hasn't been great this year and he is personally coming off a terrible last outing as well. Both he and the Rangers should be motivated in this one tonight against a solid Cleveland club.

Also, I like Texas' offense tonight against Cleveland starter Tanner Bibee. He's yielded double-digit earned runs in his last two outings and I'm looking for the Rangers to have an aggressive approach at the plate here tonight.
