Louisiana-Lafayette vs Kansas State College Football Point Spreads Week 2

Louisiana-Lafayette
and Kansas State will look to rebound from week one losses when they clash at Bill Synder Stadium in Manhattan on Saturday. The Week 2 showdown between the Ragin' Cajuns and Wildcats is scheduled to get underway at 6:30pm ET on Fox Sports 1. The latest College Football Point Spreads from offshore bookmaker 5Dimes have Kansas State listed as a -10 against the spread home favorite. The Over/Under is this weekend's game is set at 60 points.

Bill Snyder has flirted with disaster against lesser foes on numerous occasions, but it has never come back to bite him until last week. Kansas State, playing as a 14 point home favorite, suffered a stunning 21-24 home loss to FCS school North Dakota State.

The Bison's victory was no fluke either as they held the ball for 36:03, cranked out 215 rush yards, and limited the Wildcats, one of the nation's better rushing teams last season, to 41 yards on 23 carries.

Synder has a history of playing things close to vest early on, but that tack will likely go out the window given Kansas State's week one result.

The Ragin' Cajuns can expect a more determined Wildcats squad and probably more of quarterback Daniel Sams. Jake Waters, a juco transfer, played well enough in his FBS debut, throwing for 280 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, but he lacks the running dimension the speedy Sams possesses in spades.

It seemed as though Synder was off his game a bit against North Dakota State, but it is a certainty he took notice of the 292 rush yards Louisiana-Lafayette allowed in last week's 34-14 loss to Arkansas. The combination of Sams and running back John Hubert should do similar damage to ULL's defense.

Kansas State's biggest problem this weekend will be not its offense, rather, slowing down the Ragin' Cajuns offense will be the issue. Lafayette did not show much against the Razorbacks, but it features a diverse offensive attack, which is led by talented performers in quarterback Terrance Broadway and running back Alonzo Harris.

The Wildcats defense, which lost nine starters from last season's unit, had all kinds of trouble getting North Dakota State off the field; they could have the same problem on Saturday.

Louisiana-Lafayette vs Kansas State College Football Point Spreads Week 2:

Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns +10 (-110), Over 60 (-110), +300 (Moneyline)

Kansas State Wildcats -10 (-110), Under 60 (-110), -360 (Moneyline)
