The NBA Playoffs on Friday night and we will see the Los Angeles Clippers travel to the AT&T Center to take on the San Antonio Spurs in game 3 of their best-of-seven series. Current Vegas betting odds have San Antonio listed as 4 point favorites, while the total is set at 204.5. 

Analysis: The Los Angeles Clippers came into the playoffs as the number 3 seed and weren't really happy about having to meet up with the Spurs in round 1. The Clippers did shake that off in game 1, but could not keep it up as they lost to the Spurs in game 2 in OT. The Clippers have said all year that they didn't feel like they have a homecourt edge. Now they are on the road where they have gone 26-15 on the year. The Clippers have scored 107.4 ppg on 47.6% shooting overall and 37.9% from long range on the road this year. Defensively they have struggled away from home as they have allowed 102.3 ppg on 45.1% shooting overall and 36.6% shooting from long range.  

San Antonio lost their regular season finale to the Pelican and many felt they just didn't show up for that game. They followed that loss by getting blownout in game 1 of this series, but then played a more focused game on Wednesday night and came away with the OT win to tie the series at 1 game a piece. Now the game shifts to San Antonio, where the Spurs have gone 33-8 on the year. The Spurs have scored 107.4 ppg on 48.9% shooting overall and 39.1% from long range at home for the year. Defensively they have been solid at home, allowing 97.6 ppg on 45.8% shooting overall and 33.4% shooting from long range.  

Pick: I will be going with the Spurs here. Yes they got blownout in game 1 of this series, but they played much better in game 2 and now that they are fully into the series I look for an even more focused effort from them on their home floor, where they have destroyed teams in the second half of the season. Also we note that there is just one day between games for these teams and that should affect the depth shy Clippers a bit more than the aging spurs in this one. I look for a win of at least 8 points here by the spurs.
