Alabama should have no problem crushing any dream Kentucky has in this one. The Wildcats are one of the worst teams in college football, the 2-2 record is a bit misleading as the wins came over New Mexico State and South Carolina, a pair of poor teams as well.
Kentucky’s only road game to date came in Gainesville where they were blown out, 45-7, in a game where it felt like the Wildcats didn’t really compete. Florida piled up 564 yards of total offense in the game, compared to just 149 for Kentucky. The Cats finished with only 55 yards passing in the game and turned it over four times.
Alabama is nearly impossible to beat inside Tuscaloosa, especially at night. Nick Saban will have his team ready to go once again here as the Tide aren’t one of those teams that looks past an opponent or takes anyone lightly. Saban-led teams want to bury everyone early and there’s little doubt of that here as well.
The Crimson Tide have been the best team in the country to date, Jalen Hurts has looked excellent as the signal caller so far, he’s only thrown one interception and with that running game, he doesn’t have to have big games each time out.
This should get ugly.
