The official winner of the 138th running of the Kentucky Derby was horse No. 19 I'll Have Another, which paid out $32.60 for a $2.00 wager. I'll Have Another became the first horse in the history of the Kentucky Derby to win from the 19th position. He narrowly defeated horse No. 6 Bodemeister and horse No. 5 Dullahan. In winning the Kentucky Derby, I'll Have Another also became the first horse since 1989 (Sunday Silence) to win the Santa Anita Derby and the Kentucky Derby in the same year.

I'll Have Another ran the Kentucky Derby in a time of 2:01.83. Jockey Gutierrez Mario road the horse to a win in the Santa Anita Derby last month and the Kentucky Derby on Saturday. However, oddsmakers are predicting that Bodemesiter will probably be the favorite as we go head the Preakness in a couple of weeks.
