Kansas State vs Texas Tech College Football Odds

Kansas
State will look to continue its recent uptick tomorrow when it meets Big 12 rival Texas Tech at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock. Saturday's clash between the Wildcats and Red Raiders is scheduled to get underway at 12:00pm ET on ABC. The latest College Football Odds have Texas Tech listed as a -2.5 against the spread home favorite and the Over/Under set at 59.5 points. Kansas State and Texas Tech are drawing +120 and -140 money line odds ($140 wins $100), respectively.

Kansas State is going through a transition season after losing so many good players from last year's 11-2 squad, but it is by no means a pushover. The Wildcats are 4-4 overall and 2-3 in league play, but they appear to be hitting their stride.

Kansas State had the misfortune of opening conference play with back to back road games against Texas and Oklahoma State and it hosted the Big 12 leading Baylor Bears following those two outings. The Wildcats lost all three games, but they were hardly embarrassed and to this point they are the only team that looked like it belonged on the field with Art Briles' crew.

Kansas State has spent the past two weekend's showing that despite its 0-3 conference start it is no league bottom feeder. Bill Snyder's troops blasted West Virginia 35-12 in Manhattan and they routed Iowa State 41-7 at home as well.

While the Wildcats were working on bolstering their reputation, Texas Tech set about weaken its name. The Red Raiders beat up on a number of bad teams to start the season and its league slate opened with TCU, Kansas, Iowa State, and West Virginia.

Tech certainly made the most of its soft schedule, jumping out to a 7-0 overall record and 4-0 conference mark. However, it has not fared as well against better competition. The Red Raiders are 0-2 in their last two games, falling to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State 38-30 and 52-34, respectively.

Unfortunately for Texas Tech, Kansas State more closely resembles the Sooners and Cowboys rather than the Jayhawks, Cyclones, and Mountaineers.

Notable Trends: Kansas State is 9-1 against the spread in its last 10 games as a conference road dog.

Kansas State vs Texas Tech College Football Odds:

Kansas State Wildcats +2.5 (-110), Over 59.5 (-110), +120 (Moneyline)

Texas Tech Red Raiders -2.5 (-110), Under 59.5 (-110), -140 (Moneyline)
