The Iowa State Cyclones are hosting the Kansas Jayhawks in college basketball action this evening. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. The college basketball odds for the game have the Jayhawks favored to pick up the win on the road.
College Basketball Odds
Kansas -7
Total: 151.5 points
Hilton Coliseum is still a tough place to play. Iowa State has already knocked off Baylor, Texas Tech, West Virginia and Oklahoma on their home court, if the Cyclones could only win a few games on the road they’d be a potential NCAA Tournament team.
Kansas might have its run of Big 12 titles end this season. They’ve piled those things up for several years now but it looks like Texas Tech is going to find a way to get it done this year. Then again, there is still a handful of games left in the season and Kansas could find a way to get it done — but they still have West Virginia, Oklahoma and Texas Tech left on the schedule.
That means the Jayhawks could be a little out of character tonight. Hilton is a tough place to play and if Iowa State has an opponent coming in that is ranked, the crowd and team seem to be able to take it to another level.
