The Kentucky Derby start time and official post time is 6:24pm ET this Saturday from Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. This is the 138th running of the Kentucky Derby and this season there are several contenders in the event. "I'll Have Another" currently sits at 10-1 odds to win the race and opens from the 19th position. Jockey Gutierrez Mario road the horse to a win in the Santa Anita Derby last month.

"I'll Have Another" has a lifetime career of 5-3-1 and has gone 2-2 this season. This horse might have a bit taken out of him based on winning at Santa Anita. He could be a middle-of-the-pack horse early on in the Derby but could get a run in and close well. The horse is a bit young on experience but because it won in the last major race, that surely has to account for something.

If any of the above horses are scratched by 9am ET on Friday, My Adonis will take their place and is installed as a 50-1 long-shot.
