Thankfully for the Colorado Buffaloes their miserable season ends tomorrow with a showdown against Pac-12 South rival Utah at Folsom Field in Boulder (3:00pm ET start time, FX). Colorado has, indeed, been dreadful this season, ranking 121^st in offense (291.7 yards per game) and 122^nd in defense (502.4 yards per game allowed), which explains how it has reached tomorrow’s finale with just one win to its credit.

However, bettors who paid close attention to the 2012 Buffaloes are sad to see this day come. The odds makers struggled all season long to get a full grasp on Colorado’s wretchedness; a fact which is reflected in the team’s 2-9 against the spread mark. Yes, one of the most reliable teams in the nation is on the verge of hanging up its cleats for the season, ending a near weekly pay day for those in the know.

Meanwhile, Utah’s shoddy offense will look like the second coming of the Oregon Ducks going against the Buffaloes defense. This may seem like a ridiculous statement, but the Utes breaking out against poor defensive teams is not without precedent as they dropped 49 points in back to back weeks against Cal and Washington State.
