England and Canada play in the second game of the day, a battle for the right to make it to the final four soccer teams in the world. This year's World Cup has been solid from the beginning and the host Canadians have done a nice job.
Eighth-ranked Canada and sixth-ranked England take to the pitch in the final quarterfinal matchup tonight. Both squads picked up one-goal victories in the first round of knockouts, Canada shut out Switzerland while Norway actually put a goal up against the English in their knockout match.
This game is being played in Vancouver and the host Canadians should have an excellent contingency of fans. While both teams certainly are fun to watch and can play solid defense, the lack of an offensive attack could prove to be a problem.
