Fiesta Bowl Odds Boise State Broncos vs Arizona Wildcats Free Pick

College football Tuesday and we will see the Boise State Broncos take on the Arizona Wildcats at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona in the Fiesta Bowl. The game has a start time of 4:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on ESPN. Current Vegas betting odds have the Wildcats listed as 3.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 68.

Analysis: The Boise State Broncos didn't really miss a beat with Petersen bot the head coach as they had another nice year, going 11-2 overall, while winning the MWC in the process. The Broncos are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss, but just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Pac-12 and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games in December. Boise State has been a very good offensive team this year, ranking 12th in yards, 26th in passing, 29th in rushing and 9th in scoring (39.8 ppg). The defense for the Broncos has been very average this year, ranking 40th in yards allowed, 61st vs the pass, 37th vs the run and 64th in points allowed (26.5 ppg).

The Arizona Wildcats had a very nice year as they went 10-3 overall and won the Pac-12 South with a 7-2 mark. They did get blasted 51-13 by Oregon in the Pac-12 title game, but still their body of work was god enough for a Fiesta Bowl invite and was good enough for Rich Rod to win Pac-12 coach of the year. Arizona is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game, but just 6-14 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games. The Wildcats have been a solid offensive team this year, ranking 27th in total yards, 29th in passing, 44th in rushing and 28th in scoring (34.8 ppg). The defense for the Wildcats was not very good this year, ranking 104th in yards allowed, 120th vs the pass, 74th vs the run and 73rd in points allowed (27.5 ppg).

Pick:  I will take a look at the Under in this game. Both teams will run the ball a ton here and that should help the clock just tick away. There will be scoring in this game, but In see both teams on time consuming drives. Neither team has a great defense, but both teams have had teams run on them more than throw on them and that should also help the clock move. Should be a good game, but this line is just a bit to high and that has me seeing this one played in the lower 60s.
