Two of the hotter teams in the NBA will butt heads tonight as the Denver Nuggets meet the Golden State Warriors at the ORACLE Arena in Oakland, California. This evening's clash between the Nuggets and Warriors is scheduled to tip off at 10:30pm ET on ESPN. The Warriors saw their 10 games winning streak come to end on Wednesday night when they closed out a seven game road swing with a 98-102 loss to the Brooklyn Nets. It did not take Golden State long to return to its winning ways, though.

The Warriors welcomed the Boston Celtics to the ORACLE Arena on Friday night and they squeaked out a 99-97 victory. While the game was closer than expected, Golden State prevailed nonetheless thanks to Stephen Curry's late heroics. Curry, who finished with 19 points, drained a jumper with 2.1 seconds left on the clock to give the Warriors the two point win.

Andre Iguodala led Golden State, which just acquired Jordan Crawford and MarShon Brooks from the Celtics, with 22 points; he also contributed five rebounds and seven assists.

The Nuggets, who had an awful December (5-10), saw their own winning streak come to an end on Monday night when they were downed 103-118 by the Jazz in Salt Lake City. Denver, which had reeled off five straight heading into their meeting with Utah, shot just 26.9 percent from beyond the arc in the loss while the Jazz drained 55.7 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from long range.

The Nuggets have won four of their last six games against the Warriors; however, Golden State handed Denver an 89-81 loss when the two teams hooked up at the Pepsi Center on December 23rd.

Notable Trends: The Warriors are 9-1 straight up and 8-2 against the spread in their last 10 games as a home favorite with a spread between 8 and 10.5 points.
