The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide are hosting the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in college football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Currently the college football odds on the game have Alabama listed as a massive favorite to pick up the win.

Alabama left little doubt they are the best team in the country with a 52-6 dominant performance over USC last week. The Trojans basically shut it down midway through the second quarter in that game, Alabama stuck them for it and rolled to the big win.

The Crimson Tide will probably downshift a bit in this one, but Western Kentucky does have an offense that can put up some points. It’s gonna be hot and humid in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, which means Alabama will be physically ready, but it will take a big toll on Western Kentucky, especially with them being hit every play by a bigger and stronger team. The campuses are only 313 miles apart, but having to go down to Tuscaloosa is always a tough task.

The Hilltoppers have been able to score points in recent seasons, posting at least 40 in 18 different games since the 2014 season. QB Mike White pitched it around for 517 yards in the opener, he had three touchdowns as well and threw only six incomplete passes out of 31 attempts.

If Alabama’s defense is focused this will be an easy cover for the Tide. The total gives an indication Western Kentucky will score some points, though.
