The Buffaloes are still a game ahead of USC?in the loss column, but even a loss here would keep them ahead of USC as Colorado owns the tie breaker based on the head to head battle.
The Buffs have won four straight since losing to the Trojans, they’re a strong team at home and play well on both sides of the football. Sefo Liufau really makes them a tough team to beat, he’s completing better than 67 percent of his passes and has thrown 10 TDs.
Washington State has its own great quarterback in Luke Falk, he’s pitched it for 33 scores while completing 74 percent of his passes over an insane 479 attempts. Wazzou is not very good at running the football, which can make it difficult against teams with a strong defense as they are one dimensional.
Both defenses are pretty good — the Cougs are surrendering just 23 points to opponents in conference play, Colorado only allows 17 to opponents in Pac 12 play.
