College Football Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Florida State Seminoles Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

Florida State vs. The Citadel Complete Game Preview

The top-ranked Florida State Seminoles welcome in the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in college football action on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on ABC. Currently the odds for the game have the Seminoles favored by more than five touchdowns.

Last week Florida State got their scare, which wasn't the first of the season and probably won't be the last. The Seminoles survived in the opening week of the season over Oklahoma State, got a win with a backup quarterback at Clemson two weeks ago and last Saturday fell behind 24-7 before Jameis Winston led them back to victory. The Noles have been battle tested through their opening five games of the season and should have no problems here against lowly Wake Forest.

The Demon Deacons are just 2-3 on the season and have alternated wins and losses so far this year. The tone was set for the Wake Forest season early when they lost to Louisiana-Monroe by a touchdown their first game.

The only two wins for Wake so far this season have come over Gardner-Webb and Army. While the Demon Deacs have won four of the last eight games in this series don't expect them to hang around in this one or have a chance at winning. Jimbo Fischer should have the Noles ready to go in this one and we expect an onslaught performance offensively.

Winston will toss for a couple of touchdowns, the Seminoles will run wild on a bad Deacon defense and Florida State will look good doing it.

Free Pick: Florida State 59, Wake Forest 10
