Apparently Neyland Stadium can fit well into Bristol Motor Speedway, which means the best seats in this game would be right around the worst seats in Tennessee. Who in the world would want to watch a game, inside a NASCAR racetrack, and sit so far away?
Tennessee was clearly looking ahead to this game as they struggled with a decent Appalachian State team last week, Virginia Tech won comfortably over Liberty in a game that saw the Hokies score all 12 second half points.
Josh Hobbs and Jalen Hurd are to good of a combination to let the Volunteers keep struggling. Remember, Tennessee opened the season ranked inside the Top 10 but quickly sank like a rock after struggling with the Mountaineers in the first game.
The Vols look too good on paper to continue to play poorly, Butch Jones has to get his team ready to go in this one.
Playing at a NASCAR track is great and all, Tennessee looked subpar to open the season and who knows how long it will take for Virginia Tech to adjust to Justin Fuentes’ system.
It would be nice for this to be a good game.
