College Football Odds
Auburn -26
Total: 44.5 points
Auburn looked to be in a bad spot after three games with a 1-2 record, but they’ve ripped off five straight wins and risen to No. 9 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
The Tigers have two major factors for their success: running the football consistently and a stingy defense. Auburn piles up a better than 300 yards on the ground per game, which ranks third nationally, and they hold opponents to just 16 points per game, which ranks eighth-best in the country.
Sean White has evolved into a pretty strong quarterback and he’s only thrown two interceptions on the year. When Auburn hangs onto the football and doesn’t turn it over, the ground game can keep them in any game and allows them to play well while in the lead.
There’s little doubt this one will be ugly.
