The Ohio Bobcats are hosting the Buffalo Bulls in college football action on Thursday night. The game is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. Currently the college football odds for the game have the Bobcats listed as a three-touchdown favorite at home.

Ohio is favored by three touchdowns here, but the total isn’t very high given one team is expected to win by at least 20 points. That’s because Buffalo is one of the worst offensive teams in the country, averaging only 18.1 points per game. The Bulls haven’t played a tough schedule, either, they just aren’t a good football team at 1-3 in MAC play. They did, however, pick up a strange win over Akron last week as the Zips have had some troubles figuring out just how good of a team they can be. Buffalo doubled-up the Zips 41-20 and Akron is STILL in second place in the MAC East. Just confusing there.

Ohio has won five of the last six games overall, the lone loss coming to a scrappy Eastern Michigan team, but a game the Bobcats probably should have won. Ohio throws for better than 200 a game and averages 200 as well, plus they have a strong defense.

Buffalo won’t be able to stop the Bobcats from scoring, but they might be able to scratch out a couple of scoring drives themselves.
