West Virginia is in Lubbock, Texas today where it hopes to keep its unblemished run intact with a win over Texas Tech. Start time in this Big 12 clash is schedule for 3:30pm ET at Jones AT&T Stadium; the game will be broadcast live on ABC. College Football Saturday odds are favoring the Mountaineers at -4 against the spread while the game total is set at 78 points. The Red Raiders are drawing +165 on the moneyline ($100 wins $165) as a home underdog.

West Virginia cruised into its inaugural Big 12 conference game with a 3-0 record after beating Marshall, James Madison, and Maryland, but it received a scare from a potent Baylor team in Morgantown.

The Mountaineers ultimately prevailed in their conference opener with Baylor, but they needed 70 points to do so. West Virginia suffered through another difficult Big 12 battle last weekend, slipping past Texas 48-45 as a 6.5 road dog.

The team made the long trek back to the Lone Star State this week to take on a Texas Tech team that is still smarting from its first loss of the season. The Red Raiders hosted a well rested Sooners squad last weekend and they were unable to meet the task as Oklahoma left Lubbock with a 41-20 victory.

Now Tech is charged with slowing an even more prolific offense in the Geno Smith led Mountaineers. West Virginia is averaging 52 points per game on the season while Smith has thrown for 1996 yards and 24 touchdowns (zero interceptions).

The Red Raiders are solid on defense, though, yielding just 16.8 points per game this year. West Virginia will get its points, but Texas Tech should be in this contest from start to finish with a chance to win it.

West Virginia vs Texas Tech College Football Odds:

West Virginia Mountaineers -4 (-110), Over 78 (-110), -190 (Moneyline)

Texas Tech Red Raiders +4 (-110), Under 78 (-110), +165 (Moneyline)
