The Ohio State Buckeyes are on the road in college football action on Saturday, taking on the Maryland Terrapins. Ohio State will have no problem crushing Maryland in this game. The Terps are coming off an embarrassing 59-3 loss at Michigan last week where nothing really went right. Ohio State had its own embarrassing game, but it was the Buckeye laying the wood on?Nebraska in a 62-3 win. Maryland has to find a way to get itself back up for this game, but it obviously won’t be easy even at home.
The Terps are 5-4 and need only one more win to qualify for a potential bowl game this season under first year head coach?D.J. Durkin, they do end the season with Rutgers so the potential for that sixth win is there no matter what happens in this one.
Durkin’s team has dropped four of the last five games, the lone win came over Michigan State a couple of weeks back. They have issues all over the field and playing the two big boys in consecutive weeks will only dampen spirits around town.
Ohio State should have no issues moving the rock up and down the field here. They’re clearly the better team and will continue to run up the score on opponents to earn those style points for the college football playoff committee. Urban?Meyer knows how to play the game and what’s at stake, his Buckeyes will roll in this one over a Maryland team that just isn’t ready to compete with the monsters of the Big Ten.
