The Penn State Nittany Lions are hosting the second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes in college football action on?Saturday night. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ABC. The college football odds for the game have the Buckeyes favored by a comfortable margin in this one on the road.

A win here for Ohio State would give them 21 consecutive victories on the road, which is insane in today’s college football world. Penn?State is going to do all it can to make this a tough environment for the visiting Buckeyes as they are holding a “White Out” with better than 100,000 fans looking to cause some havoc for Urban Meyer’s team.

Ohio State is obviously not going to be intimidated by the number of people in attendance as they play in front of that many people each week. They also have two impressive road wins, maybe the two best road wins of anybody all season, at Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Meyer will have his club ready to go, even though they have many youngsters playing as they lost a ton of talent to the NFL last year. Even so, Ohio State has looked like the best team in the country at times this season.

Penn State has not been impressive on the road with losses to Michigan and Pittsburgh, but at home the Nittany Lions are 4-0 and have held opponents to 20 points per game on average inside Happy Valley. James Franklin’s team has won two straight as well, beating both?Minnesota and Maryland in home contests, giving them a nice added boost for confidence.

Last year Saquon Barkley had a big game against the Buckeyes with 194 yards on 26 carries. Penn State still got drilled (38-10) in the Horseshoe, but Barkley was a bright spot for them. He’s also coming off his biggest game of the season with 202 yards on 31 carries and a TD against Maryland. Ohio State has been great under Meyer on the road, but the weather is expected to be sloppy and Penn State will try like hell to rally the troops and hang around in this one.
