The Tennessee Volunteers are on the road in college football action on Saturday, taking on the Georgia Bulldogs. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on CBS. The college football odds for the game have the Volunteers favored on the road in this one.

This is the second contest in a four-game stretch for Tennessee that is arguably the toughest in the country. Nobody will play four consecutive games against a gauntlet of teams including Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M and Alabama. This contest should show us what Tennessee is made of and whether or not they can continue to play at a high level.

Coming off the huge win over Florida, the Vols now have to find a way to get back up and ready for a Georgia team that is looking for a pick-up as well. The Bulldogs were crushed last week by Ole Miss, but getting a win here over Tennessee would bring them right back to feeling pretty good about themselves.

This is the first true road game for Tennessee, but Joshua Dobbs and Jalen Hurd lead the way full of confidence. Last year Dobbs had a huge game against Georgia with better than 425 yards of total offense, including 118 on the ground, and five combined touchdowns. He’s going to be ready to go once again, will Georgia’s defense be able to slow him down at all?

Nick Chubb will probably have some emotion going in this one as well, he was hurt last season against the Vols and lost the remainder of his season. Expect him to have a strong effort here.

The Georgia defense, though, is something to be concerned about. The Bulldogs had their best effort of the season against North Carolina in the opener, but since have struggled against Nicholls, Missouri and obviously Ole Miss.
