No. 19 Arizona State will look to stay ahead of UCLA in the Pac 12 South title chase when it takes on Oregon State later this evening. Kickoff in tonight's conference clash between the Sun Devils and Beavers is scheduled for 9:30pm ET at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe; the game will be broadcast live on the Pac 12 Network. Arizona State and Oregon State appear to be headed in opposite directions right now, despite the one game difference in their record. The Sun Devils, now 7-2 overall 5-1 in Pac 12 play, have reeled off four straight wins while the Beavers, who had last weekend off, have dropped back to back home games.

Appearances can be deceiving, though, as Oregon State's losses came against Stanford and what looks like an improving USC team.

Prior to their two most recent outings, the Beavers had won six straight games and four of those victories came on the road. Oregon State wiped out Utah, San Diego State, Washington State, and California as a visitor and it was especially hard on the Cougars and Golden Bears, outscoring them 101-41.

However, even though the Beavers may not be as bad off as some might think, keeping pace with the Sun Devils in Tempe will be a tall order.

Arizona State is 4-0 in true home games this season and the only cupcake to visit Sun Devil Stadium was Colorado. The Sun Devils downed Wisconsin, USC, and Washington in their other home outings and only the Badgers managed to stay within single digits of them.

Oregon State has gotten the better of Arizona State of late in this series, but the Sun Devils have dominated the Beavers in Tempe. ASU is 6-1 straight up and 4-2-1 against the spread since the 1998 season when hosting Oregon State.

Notable Trends: Arizona State is 10-0 straight up and 9-1 against the spread in its last 10 games as a home favorite with a spread between 14 and 17.5 points.
