College Football Betting Odds Missouri Tigers vs Tennessee Volunteers Free Pick

College football week 13 and the Missouri Tigers will travel to Neyland Stadium to take on the Tennessee Volunteers. The game has a start time of 7:30 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on the the SEC Network or ESPN. Current Vegas odds have the Volunteers listed as 3.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 49.

Analysis:  The Missouri Tigers come in with an 82 record on the year, which includes a perfect 5-0 mark on the road. Missouri is 5-1 in conference play and if they win out they will have a date in the SEC Title game for the 2nd year in a row. The Tigers are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games in November and 12-2 ATS in their last 14 road games, plus 14-5 ATS in their last 19 conference games. Missouri has not been a great offensive team, ranking 107th in total yards, 109th in passing, 55th in rushing and 67th in scoring (29.3 ppg). The defense for this team has been very solid, ranking 22nd in yards allowed, 36th vs the pass, 29th vs the run and 16th in points allowed (20.1 ppg).

The Tennessee Vols have missed the postseason 3 years in a row, going just 5-7 in each of those years, but after beating South Carolina on the road and Kentucky at home last week they now have 5 wins, which means a win here or at Vandy Next week will put them at bowl eligibility. The Vols are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall, but also 6-19-1 ATS in their last 26 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and 3-13-1 ATS in their last 17 games following a ATS win. Tennessee has an average offense at best, ranking 81st in total yards, 53rd in passing, 97th in rushing and 69th in scoring (28.6 ppg).

Pick: I like the Vols in this one. This team comes in with some off the field distractions, but I see them playing well in this one. The Vols have been playing much better of late and this is their last home game of the year, plus they will be playing for bowl eligibility. Yes Missouri is playing for the East title in the SEC, but they will still have trouble matching the intensity and points of Tennessee in this one.
