Oklahoma, no doubt, still smarting from the whipping it received last Thursday in Waco will look to get back on track this weekend when it hosts Iowa State at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman. Saturday's clash between the Cyclones and Sooners is scheduled to kickoff at 12:00pm ET; it will be broadcast live on FOX Sports 1. The latest College Football Odds have the Sooners listed as a -24.5 against the spread home favorite and the Over/Under set at 50.5 points.

Oklahoma's Big 12 title hopes went down in flames last Thursday night when they got blasted 41-12 by the Baylor Bears in Waco. The loss dropped the Sooners record to 7-2 and their conference mark to 4-2.

While those are nice totals, Oklahoma now trails Texas, Baylor, and Oklahoma State in the conference standings with just three games left in the season.

The Sooners also close out their 2013 campaign with difficult road outings against Kansas State and the aforementioned Cowboys. Fortunately for Oklahoma it gets a much easier assignment this weekend in Iowa State.

The Cyclones are suffering through a dreadful season as they saw their record fall to 1-8 with last weekend's loss to TCU. Iowa State at least gave the Horned Frogs a fight before eventually losing 21-17.That is more than they can say about most of their setbacks this season, especially their conference ones.

Iowa State, which is 0-6 opposite Big 12 foes, competed well against Texas and Texas Tech, but they lost to Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Kansas State by an average of 43 points per game prior to their meeting with TCU.

Those numbers are certainly not encouraging with a rested and irritated Oklahoma team ready to welcome the Cyclones to Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Couple that with the fact that the Sooners are 13-3 against the spread off a loss of seven or more points under Bob Stoops and this look like another embarrassment for Paul Rhoads troops.
