The Wisconsin Badgers are hosting the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Big Ten College Football action on Saturday night. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The college football odds for the game have the Badgers favored by a comfortable margin in this one at home.

Total: 42 points
This play is purely because Wisconsin has played a considerably tougher schedule than Nebraska. The Badgers own losses to Ohio State and Michigan this season, plus they own a couple of Top 10 wins (at the time) over Michigan State and LSU.
Nebraska, to date, has played nobody. Give them credit for scheduling a team like Oregon early in non-conference play, but the Ducks have proven to be one of the worst defensive teams in the country and a team lost in its search for an identity.
The Huskers are 7-0, but they aren’t nearly as prepared for this game compared to Wisconsin. The Badgers also have a very strong home-field advantage here as Camp Randall is one of the toughest venues in all of college football.
Wisconsin’s defense is strong enough up front to really dominate games like this, but a near double-digit home favorite with so many guys banged up on that side of the ball feels like a lot.
Tommy Armstrong and the Huskers are pretty strong on the ground and while they don’t have many big-play threats in the passing game, they are getting Jordan Westerkamp back this week and Armstrong will look to get him the football.
Wisconsin’s great, but the offense is a bit vanilla here. We don’t know a lot about Nebraska here, but maybe they are justified being a Top 10 team.
