The Indiana Hoosiers are hosting the Nebraska Cornhuskers in college football action on Saturday afternoon. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start time and will be televised live on ABC or ESPN2, depending on regional coverage. The college football odds for the game have the Cornhuskers favored by a slim margin to pick up the win here.

Indiana could pull a major upset here and they have the talent to be able to do so. The Hoosiers could take advantage of the Huskers potentially looking ahead in this one as Nebraska has both Wisconsin and Ohio State coming up on the schedule after they take on the not-so-good Purdue Boilermakers next week.
Nebraska needs to be able to hold its focus here. The oddsmakers have them laying just a field goal here as its homecoming for the Hoosiers and they have already beaten No. 17 Michigan State in Bloomington. This is the third straight ranked team Indiana is playing and hopefully they can get fired up for this game.
The Cornhuskers have two straight Big Ten wins where they pounded the rock. Wins over Northwestern and Illinois have seen Nebraska run the ball a combined 96 times, piling up 310 yards on the ground against Northwestern and 203 against Illinois. That could be problematic for the Hoosiers, who allow opponents to run for nearly 170 yards per game, though it’s worth noting Ohio State piled up 290 yards last week in the Buckeye win.
Tommy Armstrong can make plays with his arms or his feet and he’s helped break down defenses and allow the Huskers to wear out their opponents. Nebraska has outscored their opponents 78-6 during the fourth quarter this season, which gives them a definite advantage.
