College Football Odds
Miami -3.5
Total: 52 points
The Miami Hurricanes are taking a big risk here by heading to take on the Appalachian State Mountaineers, who should have beaten Tennessee and have become a household name. This type of game can certainly have failure written all over it for the Hurricanes, but a victory would certainly be a nice one for the resume.
App State played the Volunteers tough and that was on the road, they rebounded last week to beat up on Old Dominion. Marcus Cox pounded home for three touchdowns on 133 yards in the win, Miami is going to have to slow down that running game.
Brad Kaaya is still in school, believe it or not, and this quickly becomes the biggest game on the schedule for the Hurricanes. Miami is gong to have to treat this game like a business trip, not like playing a lesser opponent. Kaaya has been a bit inconsistent this season with just 59.2 percent completion, he’s thrown two interceptions in a pair of layup in-state games.
This should be a great game, Miami will have the athletes in key positions necessary to help get the win.
