The college football odds for the game have the Cardinals favored by a massive amount in this one.
College Football Odds
Louisville -33
Total: 69.5 points
Louisville should have no problems here in this one. The Cardinals can score a ton of points and have the Heisman leader in Lamar Jackson. To date he’s lead the Cardinals to a No. 5 ranking in the polls and he’s scored multiple touchdowns in every game this season.
Jackson has 18 scores through the air this year and 16 more on the ground, giving him a huge advantage against his opponents.
Virginia is just 2-5 on the season, the two wins came over Central Michigan and Duke a couple of weeks back. Since then they lost to Pittsburgh and North Carolina, both at home, in games where they were out-scored 80-45.
This could be a game where Jackson leads the Cardinals to another massive amount of points. Louisville currently leads the country in averaging 52.6 points per game, something Virginia just isn’t going to be able to come close to.
The Cardinal defense isn’t terrible, but in this game they’ll just have to show up and make some type of effort.
