The Florida Gators are hosting the Kentucky Wildcats in SEC College Football action on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on CBS. The college football odds for the game have the Gators listed as a huge favorite to pick up the win in this one.
College Football Odds
Florida -17
Total: 47.5 points
The Florida Gators look to continue their dominance over the Kentucky Wildcats, having won every game since 1986 in this matchup.
Neither team looked very good in the opening week of the season, Kentucky blew a huge lead at home to Southern Mississippi, Florida struggled in a game with UMass that saw the Gators eventually pull away late.
Kentucky has some guys that can play on offense, tailback Boom Williams averaged seven yards per carry last season and QB Drew Barker threw for four scores last week in the team’s loss to Southern Miss.
Florida just has problems on the offensive end. Luke Del Rio did throw for a couple of scores and 256 through the air last week but Kentucky will have better athletes than UMass.
The longest active streak in the country could be in jeopardy here. The Gators have won 11 straight conference openers but their offense is too unstable to back here with this number.
