One of the college football weekend’s most intriguing will take place in Norman, Oklahoma on Saturday night when the No. 15 Kansas State Wildcats square off against the sixth ranked Sooners (7:50pm ET start time, FOX). Kansas State vs Oklahoma Odds have the host squad listed as a -14.5 against the spread favorite and the game total set at 57.5 points. Bill Snyder’s Wildcats are getting +425 moneyline odds to maintain their perfect record.

When these two Big 12 rivals hooked up in Manhattan last year the Wildcats owned a 7-0 record and were fresh off a 59-21 win over arch rival Kansas. Oklahoma brought a 6-1 record to the Little Apple after its shocking 38-41 home loss to Texas Tech the weekend prior.

The Sooners wasted no time recovering from their setback to the Red Raiders as they pounded Kansas State 58-17 to earn their fifth consecutive win over the Wildcats.

Kansas State would love nothing more than to exact some revenge tonight, but, as mentioned, recent history is not on its side. Not only has Oklahoma won five in a row against its conference rival, it has taken eight of the last nine overall and the last four in Norman while averaging 37.5 points per game.

Certainly the Wildcats have been the more impressive team this season, but Oklahoma at home after an extra week to prepare for the wily Snyder is difficult to side against. The Sooners prolific passing attack also owns an edge over the Cats secondary, something that was painfully evident for K-State fans in last year’s game. Landry Jones threw for a school record 505 yards in the double digit blowout.
