College Football Georgia Bulldogs vs North Carolina Tar Heels Start Time, College Football Odds

A battle of ranked opponents takes place in college football action Saturday when the Georgia Bulldogs play the North Carolina Tar Heels inside the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The game is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. Currently the college football odds for the game have the Bulldogs favored to pick up the win.

College Football Odds
Georgia -3
Total: 57 points

This is one of a couple of Top 25 matchups in college football action today and it should be a good one. Neutral site games are becoming increasingly popular between big schools, but playing in Atlanta is a bit of a location boost for Georgia here.

The Bulldogs return Nick Chubb, who is coming off a knee injury from last season. He is a workhorse back that can hopefully hold up the entire season and give Georgia a nice option offensively.

UNC is coming off a strong season where it won 11 games. They bring seven starters back on offense and defense this season, but are replacing Marquise Williams at quarterback. Elijah Hood rumbled for 17 touchdowns on the ground last year and will look to once again carry the load.

Georgia will look to keep the ball on the ground here. Carolina gave up better than five yards per carry to opponents last season and 247 yards per game on the ground. That’s not good and with Georgia’s offensive line and Chubb looking for a big game, the Bulldogs are a strong option here.
