The Boise State Broncos are hosting the UNLV Runnin Rebels tonight in college football action. The game is scheduled for a 9:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. The college football odds for the game have the Broncos favored by four touchdowns to pick up the win.

This should be a tough spot for UNLV, a team that is coming off a huge three overtime win against Wyoming in the team’s best game of the season. They also have lost Devonte Boyd for the rest of the season due to a broken left arm. He’s a big-play threat the Rebels will be missing who has averaged better than 15 yards per reception in his career.

Boise State still has a chance to be one of the teams in consideration for the New Year’s Six bowl, provided they win their final two games (plus the Mountain West title game). Western Michigan is unbeaten but Boise State gets the edge here because of a nice win over Washington State earlier in the year.

The Broncos run the football well, Jeremy McNichols is one of the better backs in the country and averages almost six yards a carry with 18 scores. Boise will certainly stick to the run game here and pound away with the rock, looking to take advantage of their size and speed to grind down the Rebels in this one.
