College football on Saturday night and we will see the San Diego State Aztecs travel to Las Vegas to take on the UNLV Rebels. Analysis: The Aztecs are still in the hunt for the West Division title in the MWC, but they'll need some help in order to make that happen. On offense Aztecs have been have been led by Adam Muema and Donnel Pumphrey, who have combined for close to 1,700 yards and 19 touchdowns. That yardage total is more than all of the opposing runners combined this season for the Aztecs, and the TDs two shy of SDSU combatants. Overall the Aztecs are ranked 52nd on offense, averaging 430.6ypg, while also averaging 166.3 ypg rushing and 264.4 ypg passing so far this season. The Aztecs are still struggling in the turnover department this season, tied for 117th in the nation with a minus-0.9 miscues per outing, which is a big reason why they are giving up 31.2 ppg on the year.

For the first time since 2000, the Rebels are bowl eligible thanks to an impressive 41-21 win over the Air Force Falcons in MWC play last Thursday night. Caleb Herring, has had a nice year for the Rebels this season, hitting on 64.1% of his pass attempts, leading to 17 TDs and just four INTs on 334 attempts. Out of the backfield it has been Tim Cornett that has carried the load for this team. Last weekend he ran for a career-best 220 yards and four scores, which put him over the 1,000 yards mark for the second straight season and also notched the 16th 100-yard game of his career. Devante Davis continues to be the top option down the field with his 69 receptions for 1,023 yards and 10 Tds. On defense, UNLV has struggled, ranking 104^th in total defense, 116^th vs the run and 98^th in points allowed, giving up 32.6 ppg.

Pick: The Rebels are bowl eligible but that does not meant they will make it to a bowl game, but a win here would. San Diego State has won 8 of the last 9 in the series and they are 4-1 on the road this year, but the Rebels will want this game so much more. And I feel they will get it with the outright upset.
