The Louisville Cardinals look to bounce back in college football action on Saturday when they take on the the Florida International Golden Panthers. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX Sports 1. Currently the odds for the game have Louisville favored by about four touchdowns on the road.

The Louisville Cardinals slipped up last week, falling at Virginia for their opening loss of the season. That was certainly a tough loss for the Cardinals, who took a 21-20 lead in the fourth quarter on the road. The Cards started the season by picking up wins at home over Miami and Murray State. This will be their second straight game on the road, but it should be a game they feel comfortable heading into this week. 

Florida International is not a good football program. This will be the fourth straight game at home for the Golden Panthers and they've already dropped two of the first three, dropping a 14-12 decision to open the year against Bethune-Cookman and last week against Pittsburgh.

FIU can't run the football well, ranking 117th in the country at just under 83 yards per game. They led last week over Pittsburgh 16-0 after one quarter but then got housed in the final three quarters, 42-9. The Golden Panthers just fell apart offensively and had no answers for Pitt defensively the final 45 minutes. 

This is the fourth straight season these schools will meet on the gridiron. Last year Louisville won 72-0. That's not a realistic final for this season, but the Cardinals should win comfortably again this year, despite being 0-4-1 against the number in their last five games as a double-digit favorite on the road.
