College Football Odds
Oklahoma State -21
Total: 61 points
Oklahoma State rolls into this game against visiting Central Michigan ranked 22nd in the country in the newest rankings. Both the Cowboys and Chippewas are 1-0 on the season and looked strong in their opening games.
Presbyterian was no match for Central Michigan last week, the Chips won 49-3 behind 492 yards of total offense, including 23 first downs.
Devon Spalding piled up 135 yards on 15 carries with a touchdown, Cooper Rush threw for 237 yards with one score. Rush was picked up twice in that game as well, but will look to avoid that in this game on the road in Stillwater.
The Cowboys are coming off a 21st straight home-opening win last week over Southeastern Louisiana, a game where they piled up 61 points. Mason Rudolph threw for 191 yards and two touchdowns in the win, Oklahoma State ended up with 25 pass catches in the game, though only 18 came from Rudolph.
The run game for Oklahoma State was pretty pedestrian, they finished with just 3.8 yards per carry on 38 totes. The Pokes will look to increase those numbers in this one, though it’s worth noting Central Michigan held Presbyterian to just 44 yards on 33 carries in the opener.
This is the type of game where Oklahoma State could coast, especially if the Pokes get an early lead at home.
