The Florida State Seminoles welcome in the Boston College Eagles in college football action on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on ABC or ESPN2 depending on regional coverage. Currently the odds for the game have Florida State favored by a couple of possessions to win.

Florida State has been a very good second half team this season. The Seminoles have won 26 straight games overall, but head coach Jimbo Fisher has said on multiple occasions that this team should not be compared to last year's squad.

This year's team remains inside the college football playoff projected top four with their 10-0 record, being the only unbeaten team in the playoff rankings. Florida State has seemed to play a bit soft early in games this year, falling behind but always finding a way to get it done. Their most recent win over Miami proved why the Seminoles are one of the best teams in the country, getting stops in the second half, utilizing Jameis Winston well at the quarterback position and having a ton of speed on both sides of the football.

Boston College has upset on their minds and should believe in themselves. They led the Seminoles by a touchdown last season, but weren't able to hang onto the win. They're coming into this game off a bye week and Florida State still has to deal with Florida next week, so this could be a good spot for the Eagles to potentially take advantage of the Seminoles' lack of focus. 

But the Seminoles have proven time and time again this season that when they need to get the job done, they get it done. Boston College has won six games already this season and the defense has been pretty solid this season, but Florida State at home is averaging 34 points per game this season. Winston and the Noles will be too much for Boston College in this one
