Friday college football and we will see the Utah State Aggies take on the Wyoming Cowboys at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, Wyoming. The game has a start time of 8:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on ESPN 2. Current Vegas odds have the Aggies listed as 7 point favorites, while the total is set at 45.  

Analysis:  The Utah State Aggies have been hit hard by injuries at the QB spot, but they continue to win as they come in with a 6-3 mark on the year, which includes a 3-1 record within the MWC. The Aggies have been perfect at home, but on the road they have gone just 2-3. The Aggies are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games on Friday night and 17-6 ATS in their last 23 games following a S.U. win, but are also just 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. The Aggies are down to their 4th string QB and it shows as the offense has been not all that great this year, ranking 77th in total yards, 61st in passing, 85th in rushing and 79th in scoring (27.6 ppg). The defense has really been the saving grace of this team, ranking 39th in yards allowed, 107th vs the pass, 5th vs the run and 26th in points allowed (21.6 ppg).

The Wyoming Cowboys come in off a huge upset over Fresno State Bulldogs, in which they won by 28 points as 15 point road dogs. The win still has them at 4-5 overall and 2-3 within the MWC, but they have played well at home where they are 3-1. The Cowboys are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a SU win of more than 20 points, but are also 1-8 ATS in their last 9 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Wyoming is not a very good offensive team, ranking 83rd in total yards, 75th in passing, 69th in rushing and 102nd in points scored (22.9 ppg). The defense has not been great either, as they rank 88th in yards allowed, 85th vs the pass, 94th vs the run and 94th in points allowed (30.6 ppg).

Pick: Surprisingly I will take a shot with the Over here. Utah State is a solid defensive squad, but Wyoming is starting to put up some points, as they have averaged 31 ppg in their last 4 games, after averaging just 16.4 ppg in their first 5 games. Wyoming put up 31 points on Colorada State tough defense a couple of weeks ago and should get their fair share of points here. The Utah State Aggies have been hit hard by injuries at the QB spot, but they have still done a fine job of scoring lately, putting up 69 points the last two weeks and they will be facing a rather soft Wyoming defense that has allowed 30.6 ppg overall, including 36.6 ppg in their last 5 games. The Over is 4-1 the last 5 in this series and that should continue here with a game that is played in the 50s.
