The USC Trojans are hosting the Arizona State Sun Devils in college football action Saturday night. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX. USC is favored by 10 points here in the most important game for the Trojans to date. Despite having a ton of talent on the team USC is only 1-3 with the lone win coming over Utah State in the second week of the season. To be fair, the Trojans have played three ranked teams, Alabama in a neutral site game in addition to Stanford and Utah in road games. Playing at home should be a bit more comfortable for the Trojans, even if they don’t pack the stands.

Arizona State comes in with a 4-0 record but they’ve had some close calls the past three weeks. That should help them in this one, which is the second road game of the season for the Sun Devils. Just a few weeks back they played at Texas-San Antonio and won 32-28 over the Roadrunners, who are 1-3.

USC has to win this game. The Trojans cannot fall to 1-4 on the season under Clay Helton if he expects to keep his job, especially with plenty of tough games remaining on the schedule.

Sam Darnold looks to be a solid young quarterback that has played well to earn the start, he will have to utilize the weapons USC has and move the football consistently. The Trojans could have beaten Utah last week and made things a little easier, but now they have to find a way to get a win here.

The pressure might be too much, though. Arizona State can move the football as well, this could be a lot closer.
