The Kentucky Wildcats are hosting the Tennessee Volunteers tonight in college basketball action. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The college basketball odds for the game have the Wildcats listed as a comfortable favorite here to pick up the win.
College Basketball Odds
Kentucky -14
Total: 159.5 points
Kentucky and John Calipari have played a couple of close games since losing to Florida. They’re going to have to continue to play well and getting pushed is not a bad thing as we get closer to the NCAA Tournament. Calipari’s team is young and having to learn how to win in close contests will only make them better.
Plus they have some revenge here against the Volunteers beat the Wildcats in Knoxville earlier this year, 82-80. Robert Hubbs III poured in 25 points for Tennessee in that contest and hasn’t come close to replicating that output in the five games since.
Malik Monk had 25 in that game as well and Kentucky got 21 from Edrice Adebayo as the freshmen played big minutes for the Cats.
In this one at home, with revenge as an angle, the Wildcats blow out Tennessee.
